I would use a slightly different classification:

  - general purpose - OLTP
  - general purpose - OLAP
  - specialized:
    - Internet analytics / clickstream data / adtech
    - financial timeseries
    - monitoring/observability
    - IoT/sensors 
    - IIoT/manufacturing/process
