Manticore is primarily oriented towards the MySQL world

It uses the MySQL protocol and has some extra features for MySQL users like the Federated engine [1], so it should definitely be nice for MySQL users. But it also has an HTTP API [2] so sending data to manticore should be no different than sending it to Elastic, Meili or whatnot.
