Well, that's me: my wife and I left Seattle a few years ago, moved to a very small town in a very rural area, spent about a year and a half there, then gave it up and came back. We are much happier in the city; country life was lonely and boring.

My wife still fantasizes about retiring to a cabin in the woods with a garden and maybe a little orchard, but I'm no longer sure I could actually cope with that lifestyle.
