Have you posted this before? I 'borrowed' the scroll-to-set method for a timer of my own: https://bigclock.app/timer.html

Hello, the maker here. I originally posted it long time ago here:
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29991715
But had to change the domain since as Francisco Cirillos lawyers were not happy with me using "pomodoro" in the domain.

One more internet jerk to add to my "avoid and never buy anything from" list.

You mean the inventor of pomodoro?

Doesn't matter if he is the inventor or not. Anybody sending lawyers after someone because some website used a word they claim to own is a jerk in my book.

100% agree. I actually messaged him in a good will on LinkedIn in a sense: "hello, I made a nice little pomodoro timer, do you like it?" and I hoped he might share it with his community. Instead I got a reply to take it down otherwise his lawyers will be getting in touch. It's all free, I don't make any money out of it.

It's especially obnoxious because he doesn't own the word, or the concept of a pomodoro timer itself, just has a trademark on the method. There's plenty of other online timers with pomodoro in the name or URL.
