What are you trying to accomplish with this? This feels terrible with a touchpad and it doesn't feel right at all. Maybe the problem is I never had an iPod.

I did this just for fun, not to be useful. Some people like old things and I'm one of them, I love the nostalgia sensation. For example, I also made https://oldestsearch.com/ which gives me the same sensation

No worse than cycling the thumb in the YZ dimensions for normal smartphone scrolling!

Once I reach the bottom of the page I can keep rotating of course and the page doesn't scroll further than the bottom. But if I rotate say 100px past the bottom of the screen I need to rotate backwards 100px before the screen moves up again. Basically there's a counter somewhere that needs to freeze once I hit the bottom of the page.
