I don't understand what this has to do with AI. It seems like Heroku for Fast API?

Also what type of "engine"? Game engine? Search engine? Chess engine? Diesel engine? (after clicking around a bit, apparently it's some sort cloud thingy...)

Yes, it seems like they aspire to be a PaaS for AI applications, which is ostensibly why their focus is Python/FastAPI.
