Remember America, this power is coming from Quebec so you will need to update the localization settings on your electronics devices to accept fr-CA. Otherwise the signal will be out of phase.

As shameful as it is, I really believed you at first. I had to remind myself that I could go to Canada and charge my devices with the right power plug type without changing anything on my devices.
Friendly FYI to travelers: make sure you check the outlet voltages[1] and socket types[2] before you go to foreign countries! Your power adaptors / charging bricks should have tiny text listing the voltages they can handle.

Like every article about NYPA's strategy, not a single word in the article about the impact, if any, on the cost of electricity for consumers here in new york city, where we pay the second highest rate per Kwh in the usa (behind HA).

I'm not sure if New York City specifically pays different prices than average, but according to this EIA report, power in NY is cheaper than every state in New England but Vermont. Alaska and California pay more as well.

Their main goal for this project is grid reliability.
It's usually a bad idea to link a specific project to people's utility bills. It goes up and down for all sorts of reasons, but the only thing people will notice is when it doesn't go down. Then they'll blame something about that one project they remember hearing about.
It's the type of chaos that only campaigning politicians would invite.

I think this can restart 6.25M hearts per second.
(Please don't try this)
