Here's a case where there were no good alternatives (in linux) to remotely play latency free. Now, some prefer this method for remote desktop more than VNC.

No. I run this on AMD GPU and it works great. It's GPU agnostic.

Oh shoot you are right, the FAQs really heavily implied it's just NVIDIA and I just left it at that.

For PS owners there's also Chiaki for Playstation Remote Play. It can be launched from Steam OS as with everything else.
