That's really interesting, does WebKit do less JITing or something to be faster for startup?

bun startup is fast compared to other JS runtimes but imo this is little or nothing to do with JSC versus v8 as the javascript engine. i did some experiments a while back and wrote them up here if you want to take a look. https://just.billywhizz.io/blog/on-javascript-performance-03...
