Indeed, their entire comments on this thread are just passive aggressive and sarcastic insults, it's actually impressive how much anger there is. I noticed this Redditization as well, there are a lot of anti capitalist comments on HN recently which I don't remember seeing several years ago. For a discussion forum about startups and highly paid software engineers, they sure are surprised to see where their money comes from.

Anti-capitalist comments on MY hn??? No WAYY! You got here in 2019 bud. HN was far more political and anti-capitalist in the beginning. This was a HACKER group, not a startup venture capitalist group.

Do you think this account is my only account? I've had lots of throwaways in the years prior, I've been here well before you have, at least based on your current account date. It was not anti-capitalist in the beginning, it was always made as a startup forum, no matter what the name of the site says.

LOL sorry darkmodeguy, I didn't consider that you might have multiple hackernews accounts. That's totally normal bro! And it's totally normal for me to know you have had multiple older HN accounts but NOT for you to assume that I have also had multiple older HN accounts. Having "multiple throwaways over the years" is totes normal. Absolute genius!

Will HN ever let us block people?
