Unless there's large-scale political change, "freed from the need to work" = "freed from the need to be paid". Hard row to hoe, that.

Wow, another AI utopian vision from Silicon Valley that glosses over the real-world consequences. Khosla's all too convenient optimism fails to confront the harsh reality: private companies hoarding AI technology, reaping insane profits, and leaving workers in the dust.
