Ask HN: What Happened to Elm?

I have to politely disagree. I have personally staked a lot of my career and livelihood in Elm and it has paid off quite well. I love the language clearly, but also being a part of a community of nice people has been amazing too. I have worked at 4 companies that use Elm, some of which turned into big successes imo. Programming in Elm is always how I have supported my family.

It is going really well! Whenever I hear Elm can't be done, I am always a bit baffled. I am right here! Look at me! I am doing it!

Another happy Elm programmer. Elm has provided my livelihood for the past 4 years and still going.

All these people complaining about the lack of native scripts, yes it becomes a problem sometimes but it’s not a show stopper, there’s ports and web components.

I recommend Elm to any developer wanting to get into Functional Programming. Elm official docs itself will take you far.
