atom 2c/4t, 4gb ram, 1tb drive, 100mbit

I found Atoms to be unbearably slow, even with Linux. Of course it’s enough for serving websites and whatnot, but it’s baffling how much power they use just… not performing.

You get a lot for the bucks, good luck finding a VPS with those spec for less. And the power cunsumtion is the DC problem - maybe they run on solar, wind, hydro...

It isn't uninterrupted but since it's Ubuntu 18.04 I have to move on till April.
