What kind of rule is this?
Half of the barely-processed foods I buy are in boxes and bags. Rice, potatoes, frozen vegetables...
Fresh meat is also wrapped for sanitary reasons. Do you count plain cheese as highly processed because that has plastic on it too.
Let alone how normal it is to add things like starch and salt and juices.
