Sandy Hook should have been a turning point for gun control but very little has changed since then. I'm a gun control advocate but as long as the 2nd amendment is in action owning a gun is 100% legal. It's as valid as any other part of the constitution. We as advocates need to understand and stop advocating for a total ban. The stronger we push the least likely the other side will push for no gun control. And they have the constitution on their side. It's time accept the reality of the 2nd amendment and push for same control and start to make rules both sides can live with. Continued push for bans have and will continue to lead nowhere.
