Vindman is of Ukrainian descent and was a star witness against the former President in his impeachment for meddling in Ukraine prior to the invasion.

So, sure, that is probably the primary reason Musk dislikes or affects to dislike him now, not his being Jewish.

But that doesn't in any way indicate he can't or isn't making antisemitic comments or Nazi references.

You may have forgotten he's not officially affiliated with the leader of Russia.

So he doesn't have any need to be consistent with the party line that everybody they don't like is a Nazi and the Nazis were the biggest criminals in history.

This is a very confusing reply, “musk probably isn’t a nazi but we can’t rule out that he hates them either” please correct me if I’m misinterpreting your comment. You don’t appear to be responding to anything I’m saying.

Sorry, your paraphrase is gibberish. My comment was as clear as I could be. To recap:

Sentence 1+2: I agreed with you that Vindman is likely not being targeted because he's Jewish.

Sentence 3+4+5: However, that doesn't support your implication that Musk's purported antisemitic behavior is fake news.

People can, and do, oppose someone first for one reason, and then insult or attack them on whatever basis seems opportune.

What it really means is "angel dancing on the head of a pin" territory.
