Whining about "wokism," and pretending that canceling people who say racist things is worse than saying racist things (or inviting white supremacists to eat with you around your dinner table at your private club, instead of canceling and denouncing them), as if empathy and respect for other people and tolerance of diversity and intolerance of bigotry are bad things, is a shibboleth that bigots use to identify themselves and each other, and declare that they're on the racist intolerant side of the culture war. He was simply identifying himself and his beliefs as being intolerant and against canceling intolerance, not earnestly discussing the topic of this conversation or adding any meaningful discourse.
Sure, omitting Arnold Schwarzenegger is a bug (a "Scunthorpe hiccup" as someone already put it), but it's certainly not an intentional part of a big tech liberal conspiracy to force "wokism" down the throat of all the poor oppressed canceled racists, as he and his ilk so often imply.

"Again"??! Since when were search results ever purely accurate, complete, and unbiased, anyway? Do you also want search engines to show nothing but accurate results when you google how to commit suicide?
No, a Hollywood superstar has not been wandering around for 40 years with a racial epithet for a surname.
The discussion above was around "neger" as a standalone word, not as part of a surname. "Schwazenegger" means "black ridge".

Seems your brain has the same bug.
> but it's certainly not an intentional part of a big tech liberal conspiracy to force "wokism" down the throat of all the poor oppressed canceled racists, as he and his ilk so often imply.
That is not what was implied. It's not like racists are fans of Schwarzenegger in particular, this error doesn't "target" racists or cancelled individuals.
The implication was that Google is in the grip of morons whose brains are so reliant on basic pattern matching that they suffer from a problem formerly reserved for badly written computer software.
And yes, using the term "woke" as an insult is most certainly an Alt-Right shibboleth, and there's absolutely nothing wrong and everything good about being anti-fascist, canceling racists, not inviting white supremacists to eat at your dinner table, and having empathy and respect for your fellow human beings, as much as the Alt-Right tries to ridicule and cancel people who do, and make excuses and carry the water for people who don't.

>As we say in Germany, if there’s a Nazi at the table and 10 other people sitting there talking to him, you got a table with 11 Nazis.
And beyond identifying himself with the Alt-Right side of the culture war, his comment made absolutely no contribution to the discussion, and had no value. And the conspiratorial implications you perceived from his worthless anti-woke remark are total bullshit.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shibboleth
>A shibboleth (/ˈʃɪbəlɛθ, -ɪθ/ (listen); Biblical Hebrew: שִׁבֹּלֶת, romanized: šībbōleṯ) is any custom or tradition, usually a choice of phrasing or even a single word, that distinguishes one group of people from another. Shibboleths have been used throughout history in many societies as passwords, simple ways of self-identification, signaling loyalty and affinity, maintaining traditional segregation, or protecting from real or perceived threats.
So get a grip. Automatically filtering content is a hard unsolved ongoing problem. This is simply a classic instance of the Scunthorpe problem, not because Google is involved in a vast left-wing woke conspiracy, or their engineers are all idiots.
It fits the definition of "Scunthorpe problem" to a tee. Note the parts about "unintentional" and "blocking of ... search results" and "string (or substring)" and "Names ... are most often cited":
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scunthorpe_problem
>The Scunthorpe problem is the unintentional blocking of websites, e-mails, forum posts or search results by a spam filter or search engine because their text contains a string (or substring) of letters that appear to have an obscene or otherwise unacceptable meaning. Names, abbreviations, and technical terms are most often cited as being affected by the issue.

Oh wow, a typo. You really got me.
People like you are the reason "woke" took off as an insult. Nauseatingly arrogant but lacking anything to back it up. A bit of introspection would do wonders - surely at this point you've realized nobody wants to be around you, does that not get depressing?
Now go on, post another seething wall of text defining random words that you think make you very intelligent when everyone understands them already. "Shibboleth" is such a good band but you wont have heard of them yet, lol.
