_Most books tend to give generic advice such as “Don’t use passive voice” or “Be clear”._
Bold criticism. I wonder what step 1 to improve your writing is then -
_Good writing is clear_
Oh ok.
Y'all need to stop reprovisioning basic info from other fields as practical wisdom. Like is anybody reading this saying "wait - clarity is _good_!? What a country"
P.S. I might advise the author & other 2L writers to watch for non-count nouns ("advices").
