Yes things are getting better every generation on all accounts except maybe pollution. 30 years ago there were literally no private jobs, now a decently skilled individual can get high paying corporate jobs. 10 years ago most villages didn't have toilets now toilets are built in most. 20 years ago electricity used to be there only few hours a day in villages, now it's there 20+ hours. More girls are getting educated, people are living longer, crime has reduced, infant mortality rates have reduced and so on. Things are on an upward trajectory though there is still lots to be done.
