Any bluetooth mouse is MUCH better than even the best trackpads. It's true that Macs have great trackpads, but I almost never use them anyay.

I agree with this, but whenever I use my MBP I'm forced to use the trackpad because the mouse acceleration in OS X is so bad.

I've tried things like Decelerate and had no joy - the movement of the cursor just seems not to match up with my hand.
