I’ve always wondered why I didn’t see people at my employer doing this “change jobs every year for huge gains” thing, but if the huge gains are $180k TC I guess that’s why. FB probably pays the interns more than that.

Yeah a lot of the jumping is that junior at a no name company isn’t anything at FAANG, but senior at a no name can be intermediate/junior at FAANG.

Also, many companies on the lower end don’t provide equity, so you are essentially just rented on a two week basis.
