A comment on 77TB of Research Data Lost Because of HPE Software Update.

Being a contingency planner, I am astounded that the reason given is because of the update only. Any sysadmin that doesn't backup their data is not doing their job.

If the administration don't pay for the drives, how is a sysadmin to make backups?
