I don’t like how they use Rails to advertise Hey.

Hey and Basecamp pay the bills so that Rails can be what it is. I don’t mind a name drop. It couldn’t have been more subtle and it was actually very relevant. Didn’t seem like an ad to me.

I understand that, but it's not as if they've really changed. They always used Rails to advertise Basecamp and vice-versa.

I really like they use Hey to show how a real application can be done using rails. DHH shows the internals of Hey in some tutorial and I found it very interesting.
