Disagree. The government doesn’t have the right incentives to solve problems. It should set constraints, not dictate solutions.

The majority of these challenges are direct result of the government's corruption and incompetence. See e.g. housing crisis, or student debt issue, or massive drug proliferation.

Firing bad government workers is part of the path to that. Higher pay for those remaining could be implemented in conjunction, perhaps.
