.5 deaths per 100K is 1 death per 200K.

for comparison, all cause mortality[0] in infants (<1yr) is ~500/100K, and for 1-19 year olds, ~100/100K. for kids, covid is not even a blip on the mortality chart, being 2-3 orders of magnitude smaller.
