Seattle provides all that without the 50% pay cut, denominated in a currency that's at 70% strength to the dollar.

Had multiple offers in Vancouver. Turned them all down. Couldn't come close to matching quality of life in Seattle.

Are you saying Seattle qualify of life is better than Vancouver? Other than potential compensation, in what ways?

I live in Seattle, but we definitely have crazy politics and the nature is seriously overcrowded.
