it's such a mind game. Google no longer will provide that employee with $10 of thousands of office space, and $1000s in perks when the employee is remote. Having an employee transition from in office to remote is _already_ saving the employer money as the employee now pays for the sq footage (and food, foosball, and gardens) ... But of course this is doublespeak to confuse employees.
