It's mostly algorithmically generated by scouring the internet, without any kind of editing - it's trivial to find countless examples of Alexa(and Google home and Siri) providing completely nonsensical answers, because the question matched the snippet of the first article on some loony website. It's great if you catch it as a parent, but I know in many homes these devices are allowed completely without any supervision.

Only knowing, or or primarily relying on a single point of entry for all knowledge discovery is an issue.
