I just want to say, passport is a horrible name. Not because it doesn't convey the meaning, but because it is going to be hard to search for.

There are already quite a few technologies using the name (passportjs, passport Micosoft's former SSO service) and it won't be very distinguishable/searchable.

My employer had an identity service call passport and when we renamed it, it was much much easier to brand and find via search.

That said, I love the idea of aggregating all the non-walled garden communication tools into one easy to use interface and package.
