Simple.com transitioned to BBVA USA last night (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25674964) and customers can't access their accounts. BBVA's support phone number plays "I'm sorry, we are experiencing difficulties. Please call back at a later time. Goodbye." and hangs up.

They've been preparing for months and still managed to screw it up.

BBVA doesn't have a status page or even status tweets, so the hundreds or thousands of tweets this morning from Simple customers is the best source of information: https://twitter.com/search?q=to%3Abbva_usa&src=typed_query&f... , and the replies to https://twitter.com/BBVA_USA/status/1391030158895747076

I'm locked out too. This has been nothing short of a disaster judging from their Twitter account.

This is beyond annoying. I was able to get into online banking, but now I can't access my savings account...

This is ridiculous.
