These are just filler articles, guys. I used to write nonsense like this as a teenager for a living. You kind of want just some base load of published content on your website so you hire some cheap labour to do it.

Occasionally someone gets upset about it and shares it. Didn't happen that much in the past but happens more commonly now.

It has all the signs:

* No meaningful information

* Filler phrases to pad content

* Some amusement for the writer with some phrasing

Anyone reading anything into this is kind of wasting their time but it's okay, it's kinda designed for that.

Maybe this article is filler, but Eric Berger is a well-respected veteran space journalist, and generally his articles on Ars Technica are great.

He's just released a book on the early days of SpaceX [1] that appears to be the definitive account, according to the early reviews.

I'm not associated, but I have been wanting to read his book and am happy it has finally been released! :)

One of the sad things about the modern ad-supported internet economy, is that respected veteran journalists are under pressure to produce the same sort of filler content that is little distinguishable from the output of low-paid freelance content writers.

True. I've been considering signing up for Ars Pro because I like their content, but haven't yet been able to pull the trigger yet
