I'm a huge fan of savory fried any-cake (e.g. hoecakes, [0]). Just because something is normally made one way is no reason to limit ourselves.

You can make sweet or savory crepes, so why not pancakes?

But then, I'm not a big fan of actual-cake and don't have much of a sweet tooth.
