What do you mean with "worse" in this context? I'm also seeing an uptick in news and rumours about UFO sightings/pending disclosure (not sure if confirmation bias...), but why would that be a bad thing?

Try taking a picture of a fast moving object in the sky with your phones camera, it is quite hard to do; even at an air-show where they all line up for you.
