Case in point: Assange persecution, war in Afghanistan, Irak, Libya; "targeted assassination" of various people, more recently an Iranian general, waged coups around the world, most recently Bolivia, Brazil, etc. "Who is going to care about human interest stories from such a nation"?

Man it's time that you grow up out of "manifest destiny".
