CTO Doesn’t Share Codebase

I joined a startup with 3 engineers include the CTO. This is my first software job and after I joined for three months, the CTO hasn’t shared the codebase with anyone in the company yet. He seems like doesn’t want to share the codebase bc he’s afraid that people will steal it. What should I do

It probably doesn't exist, or he really is that paranoid. Either way, this sounds like a toxic situation and you probably don't want to be there long-term.

Yeah he’s extremely paranoid. He explicitly said I don’t want you to see the code because you may save it somewhere else and also said “If I were you, I would totally do that”

I have been just working on isolated helper functions
