According to Marketwatch [1] you are incorrect. The MEDIAN NET WORTH is $97,300. The MEAN is way higher at $692,100.

Also, note that this figure varies considerably by age and education, as you might expect.

Yeah, everyone knows means are lying, especially in super-unequal societies. No-one cares about the mean, you want to look at the distribution
