Yea that 200 and some year old document written by God himself... or was it rich white slave owners that wanted to keep all of the wealth to themselves rather than share it with the British who financed its creation?

45 thousand should be enough for everyone. You can send the excess to me.

Money is an entry in a bank database, or small pieces of paper. Any value it has beyond kindling is created by and shared by society. If society decides to tax extreme monetary income at an extreme rate, then tough luck. Although do consider the large, lavish, and well staffed mansion you live in when considering how "tough" your luck is.

Yeah! That's a really good idea! Why not set an upper limit? Why not set it at say... 5 million dollars? Once you have 5 million in total assets, that's it. You can't keep any income beyond that point. Your income in excess of that is subject to redistribution to the poorest people. Would there even be a tangible decrease in lifestyle for the wealthiest folks?
