I've been impressed with several of the Bing projects; I recently found that they open sourced the JIT compiler for C++ they use on Bing [1] I've been more and more impressed with Microsoft's efforts in Open Source and elsewhere. Especially with these under the MIT license.

Is Bling related to Bing? Reading the repo and the comments I'm really confused by this.

First sentence in the introduction:

Yes it is, it's from the team in Bing building the index, doing document understanding.
