This is a useful point, as you write, "anticipating that he will be booted from YT in the near future, so he's moving his eggs to other baskets before that happens." The switch looks like a strategic move. I do wonder how long he will stay at DLive. For a short period or more permanently?

This would likely depend on how much his audience grows on it. Wonder what his metrics for success would be.
