It's a great font with a lot of features, and it is visually very similar with Roboto. I just wish it had a thinner variant (font weight 300).

Not quite. There are actual Helvetica clones such a Arial and Nimbus Sans, but I would say these contemporary UI fonts fall somewhere between classic grotesques and the humanist types of Frutiger and Myriad.
