Well, if there are any individuals alive today responsible for those atrocities, then they should be called out.

Otherwise, it's about as relevant as Roman atrocities in Gaul.

Fine, let's call them out. Forced sterilization of Native Americans continued through the 1970s in the US. Victims and perpetrators are still alive.
