Really? I live in the UK (London) and had never even heard of it.
This is starting to feel a bit like China Mieville's The City & the City, two worlds inhabiting the same space but never interacting...

There are ads on the tube now so it's harder to not notice today. Before it was just the hot coral card that was advertising it and easy to notice, especially so when you have one. I remember last year when it was cool and special to see others use it, now it's just par for the course here in London.

Well, to be fair London is freaking huge. Depending where you live in London you mileage might vary. But now that you know about the "orange card" you might be able to notice it around you.

Yeah, it's definitely achieved "verb" status in my social groups. Transferring between other monzo users is so incredibly quick and easy. Even people who aren't in your contacts list, with the bluetooth transfer feature. It's great.
Monzo is even a verb as in "can I Monzo you?" or "let's split with Monzo"
It's just that freaking awesome.
