I believe car leasing will become more popular than buying as automobiles become more technology than machine. Who wants a gadget car with 3 year old technology? People can't even keep phones that long.

There is a less favorable reason you are right. Cars are getting more expensive and people can't afford them even with ever lengthening loan lengths...
