it's not black and white. The prime minister visiting Yasukuni has political symbolism, which they're well aware of. There's also no excuse for Abe's historical revisionism.

I'm a big fan of Japanese culture in general, but their handling of this issue leaves me with a bad impression of its government. The Chinese government is even worse, with the overt anti-Japanese propaganda, but two wrongs don't make a right.
