I don't know what they teach investigative journalists, but showing that you are deeply unsympathetic to how harassment affects victims' families does not tend to get people to reveal information to you. And who asks for private information on a public forum? The web hasn't killed email yet.

I don't know the answer to most of your questions. I have purposely avoided most information about the shooting. All I know is that one of the victims was a real person.
