1. sudo apt-get install wine 2. wine ~/Downloads/1passwod-blah.exec
On first launch wine configures itself and default configuration IMO works fine for running 1Password.
Last piece of puzzle is, making sure Password agent starts automatically when you login to dekstop so I have little .desktop file in ~/.config/autostart - https://gist.github.com/gnufied/c0615a8a90d21a8d575590b5001f...
