Volkswagen Group is the mother. The big one with >600k employees.
The Volkswagen Group has several brands/divisions - I've added the profit margin for 1st half 2016:
* VW cars: margin 1.7%
* Audi: 8.8%
* Skoda: 9.6%
* Porsche: 16.7%
* Seat: 2.1%
Then there are VW trucks, Lamborghini, Bentley, Bugatti, Ducati, Scania and MAN. All those are brands of Volkswagen Group.
