does anybody know what's the current situation of this? I'm going to LA in a few weeks and I would like to know if I can get to see the sign.

I drove to the address 3204 Canyon Lake Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068 mentioned in the article about 2 months ago. That's a really good spot I can recommend.

Just be kind and don't stand in the middle of beachwood ave blocking traffic grinning down the shaft of your selfie stick (you will see what I mean). I take friends up there all the time (to the trail under the sign) just be quiet and courteous and no one gets upset.
