The law is phrased “real people” which doesnt mean people that exist or are famous but rather people in general. So ai images of people using your product or whatever are real people which have to be labeled.

Maybe it's because in 1991 the word open in software wasn't ringing any bells for your average joe.

I would love to learn how to draw. I have an iPad Pro with a pencil and procreate. Can anyone give me a few good pointers? I draw like a 5 year old.
Portugal is also a weird market because cars in general are much pricier than in other EU countries.
Re:Proton launches its own version of Google Docs on Wednesday July 03, 2024 @08:56AM (#40865514)
How good is the proton ecosystem if I have multiple mail addresses and calendars?

Say I have [email protected] and [email protected], can I use one unified inbox, and can I use both addresses to send and receive calendar invites?

Moreover, how easy is it to combine my calendars with my work calendar?

I heard it's also not possible to sync contacts with iOS, is that true?

I love the code completion from GitHub's Co-Pilot, but every time I use the chat feature to replace existing code, I feel like the UX is terrible.
There's also https://forwardemail.net which I really love
Re:Ask HN: Who is hiring? (August 2022) on Monday August 01, 2022 @01:42PM (#32309501)
Monday Consulting GmbH | Software Engineer (Java), Frontend Developer, System Administrator (Kubernetes) | Hamburg and Northern Germany | Full-time Disclaimer: Our office and customer language is German.

Monday is a medium-sized company of 50+ people located at the beautiful Fischmarkt in Hamburg. We are 13 years old and value good working conditions and fair treatment. The company is very transparent, and we have happy employees.

We have three big areas, 1st realizing projects for our mostly enterprise customers, mainly with the Content Management Systems CoreMedia and FirstSpirit (Both Java). Lately, there are also small projects with Strapi (TypeScript). On the Frontend, we try to use modern tools like React and TypeScript, although every so often it's not possible / needed. The 2nd area is our in-house product, Monday Webforms and the third area is classic consulting where we support our clients directly in their projects, though still with programming.

We are mostly seeking people with experience, but if you think you are a good, passionate developer, feel free to write to me personally at [email protected].

We have a great company culture, and you can decide yourself, how many days you would to come to the office (from 0 to 5, everything is possible). Furthermore, we offer fair and flexible time tracking, where you can reduce or increase your hours easily between 30 and 50 per week (40 is normal). All your extra time gets logged, and you can save it indefinitely for a sabbatical / days off or get monetary compensation for it. We offer complete flexibility, one of our workers has been working from Argentina in the last three months without problems.

If you have any questions, contact me (Oskar) at [email protected]

Our Open positions (in German): https://www.monday-consulting.com/jobs

Hey Nikita, could you maybe put some more legal information on the webpage?

I'm trying to find out if you're a company and where you are located. Is there no legal entity behind this? Do you have a privacy policy?

Re:Show HN: HN Avatars in 357 bytes on Monday March 14, 2022 @04:42AM (#30669880)
HN sets one cookie and that is "httpOnly" and "secure", so it can't be read from JavaScript. You can test this yourself by typing document.cookie into your console, it should return an empty string.
Can someone tell me if this is even true? Plausible doesn't save any GDPR related data as far as I know?

And the backend is hosted @ Hetzner in Germany

Monday Consulting | Frontend Developer | Hamburg and Northern Germany | 100% remote easily possible, nice office available | 30-50hrs/week as you like, most do 40

Because of our clients, you must be more or less fluent in German.

We're hiring an experienced Frontend Developer for all kinds of projects. It doesn't matter if you are CSS only or mostly JavaScript, we will find suitable work for you.

We do a mixture of in-house agency, consulting and internal product development. We are building more and more with modern tech like React and TypeScript, but do still have projects that use vanilla JavaScript because our two partner CMS are classically server rendered (CoreMedia and FirstSpirit).

Monday is a small business with around 45 great employees, good culture and a sweet office right at the Fischmarkt in Hamburg.

I would be your team lead, so feel free to contact me at [email protected] for more infos.

You can find more info in German at https://www.monday-consulting.com/jobs/wir/suchen/frontend-d...
