At that position, it makes sense to automate most of the work.

Re:Ask HN: What should I do with 50k verified emails on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @05:32AM (#50178056)
No, I don’t want to spam anyone.

But, how do I get people to know my product, if ads are out of budget.

Ask HN: What should I do with 50k verified emails

I am working on my startup idea. I have collected about 50,000 verified names and email address of student and candidates looking for jobs. (Might reach 100,000 by the end of this week). What should I do now ? Just cold email them to ask/try my platform or run paid ads on X, LinkedIn or Instagram. How do I get attention and crack distribution, any suggestions ?

Good work. Played it for 3 minutes. But the response on the player side should be little fast. Also make the power which pop-up little clear, as the graphics make it difficult to understand.

Overall will give it a score of 7/10. Once the improvement are done. I think its a 11/10.

Works everytime.

Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026) on Monday August 10, 2026 @01:49AM (#49239670)
Building a platform to make hiring simple and easy for recruiters. Also, increasing candidates/job applicants visibility when applying for a particular job.
Thank you for sharing details.
The companies I work with have a have several inbound job applications that come in through email. These are medium sized companies (10-20) that usually don't have systems built in. The candidate vetting process is still manual.

I want to make a product where all the applications are connected to my platform. The founder or hiring team can login through their credentials. Review it, see key insights, give the candidate option of uploading short videos or audio introductions and talk about their skill set.

The companies get a complete overview of the candidate, based on that the system assigns scores and ranking for whoever is the top match. The team interview them and then hire them. They can also use my platform to post jobs.
